Wren Valentino writes contemporary, holiday, and gay romance novels, including the upcoming titles THE EVERLASTING GIFT, MIRANDA CHANCE, PASO DOBLE, PINE COVE LODGE, PITCHOUT, ROMANCE ON THE RIVIERA, SEARCHING FOR SALVATORE, and SEVILLE. He opted to backpack through seven countries before heading to college and spent a year living in Europe, primarily on the Greek island of Ios. When he's not dreaming about living on the Italian Riviera or running away to Belgium, Wren also writes young adult fiction and stage plays as David-Matthew Barnes and horror films as Matthew Macola. He loves white chocolate, The Dollyrots, gothic romance novels, classic cartoons, old movies, Julie London records, pizza, all things Snoopy, and everything written by Jane Austen. He lives in Denver. You can connect with Wren on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Update: Works-in-Progress

Just a quick "works-in-progress" update from your friend who's a romance writer. I've been working a lot on the final draft of my holiday-themed romance THE EVERLASTING GIFT. I love the story, mostly because I love my main character, Sharleen Vega. She's feisty but compassionate. She's very fun to write. Simultaneously, I'm working on my other holiday-themed romance PINE COVE LODGE. The ideas are overflowing for this one, so I might have to make some cuts, especially where a subplot is concerned. It is a bit strange writing wintry tales in August, but I love the challenge. More soon!
