Wren Valentino is an actor, author, film buff, and poet.

Fast Beat, his debut dance-themed contemporary romance novelette, is available exclusively in eBook from Blue Dasher Press. Wren's poetry has been featured in several literary journals, magazines, and anthologies including Atomic Flyswatter, Disquiet ArtsHalfway Down the Stairs, Wicked Gay Ways, and the My Front Door series presented by Silver Birch Press.

As an actor, Wren has appeared in several plays including roles in After Magritte, Big Love, A Comedy of Errors, Marat/Sade, Measure for Measure, No Place to Be Somebody, Once A Catholic, Our Town, The Real Thing, Sexual Perversity in Chicago, The Shadow Box, Twelfth Night, Vito on the Beach, and a touring production of Raggedy Ann and Andy. His television credits include In the Raw, My Super Sweet 16, Music Alive, and Trauma. He is a workshop student of actress Nancy Sullivan and casting director Jane Jenkins.

Wren opted to backpack through seven countries before heading to college and spent a year living in Europe, primarily on the Greek island of Ios.

Wren graduated magna cum laude from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and English. He earned an MFA in Creative Writing at Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina.

Wren loves carnations, classic cartoons, Gothic novels, Italy, Julie London records, the Peanuts gang, all things Tiki, white chocolate, and everything written by Dorothy Parker and Jane Austen.
